Purchasing Assistant

Kaufman Co, a growing distributor of industrial tools and supplies in Norwood MA, is looking for an energetic indivdual to join our purchasing staff in a fast-paced yet friendly office.

Duties include assisting the Purchasing Manager in buying, maintaining inventory records, expediting purchase orders, and other related administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will posess experience with Windows programs, knowledge of basic wholesale business functions, and not be afraid to occassionally get her/his hands dirty.



Minimum requirements:



Minimum high school degree, some college preferred

Experience in purchasing, inventory management, or related area

Detail oriented, able to meet deadlines and prioritize workload without supervision

Strong computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
