Additional responsibilities include: defining test strategy, managing defects, generating reports, communicating issues, documenting test results, reviewing documentation and coordination of the QA test environment. Functions include: Organize and/or conduct testing of new applications and upgrades to existing applications Assist business users, business analysts and development teams with QA testing of applications prior to roll-out Testing generally will include; but is not limited to systems, systems integration, performance, stress, regression and UAT testing Assist with resource estimates Assist with creation of test documentation to include test plan and test scenarios/cases Test plan execution Record problems/defects identified during testing Re-test problems after they are resolved by development team May be responsible for creation/maintenance of automated test scripts Be responsible for communicating the status of testing to include reporting of overall test results Coordinate any necessary testing with other testing/support teams or areas within the project team May have technical specialization for designing testing and deployment strategies for projects Contribute recommendations/best practices for defining and continually improving testing deliverables and processes May be responsible for providing recommendations to sponsor and clients regarding support/use of application May be responsible for assisting with any necessary support procedures and ensuring appropriate training and support documentation is in place May be responsible for assisting with preparation and execution of technical support and/or client focused training sessions Additional hours may be required for urgent project completion deadlines REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Four year business or technical degree (preferred) 2 to 3 years of experience in applications QA and deployment to include testing/QA methodologies Formal software development life cycle experience (preferred) Experience in Windows XP, software installation and configuration, local area networking, and internet technologies (a plus) Knowledge of internet technologies and industry-standard browsers Thorough and detail oriented with good organizational skills Strong diagnostic, testing, and problem-solving skills Strong client service attitude Excellent verbal and written communications skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to a changing environment and multi-task assignments Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation Experience with performance, stress, and load testing (preferred) Experience with test management tools to include Mercury Interactive's Test Director or Quality Center (preferred) Experience with automated test tools to include Quick Test Pro (preferred) HOW TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION: Mail, fax, or email resume, letter of interest and any other relevant information you would like to submit to:  NAME:  Human ResourcesADDRESS: 27500 Riverview Center Blvd., Suite 400  Bonita Springs, FL  34134 FAX:  239-949-7623 EMAIL ADDRESS: jobs@sourceinterlink.com
