FirstAviation Services Inc. through itssubsidiary AerospaceParts International is a world-wideleading aviation parts distributor, aircraft component repair and overhaul andinventory Management Company.  API hasfacilities in Canada, the Philippines and Shanghai,China in addition to itsheadquarters in Memphis.First Aviation is looking for a dynamic leader to assume the responsibility of Quality Inspector at its Southaven, MS warehouse reporting to the Quality Manager The position demands the skills and focus of an educated,hard-working, intelligent & committed individual. This person must be manythings to the organization: superb analyst, fact-based decision maker, detailedwith processes & procedures, & unquestioned integrity. M



Responsible for Signature ofcompany correspondence to include:

Signature of Certificate ofConformance

Responsible for Signature ofMaterial Certifications

 

Perform Outgoing inspection

Must audit at least 34% of ordersincluding Domestic, International, Hazardous material and Piper

Must be able to lift 75lbs or more

Must ensure right quantity,quality, pack list is correct, no damage to product, and all documentation(verified and signed)

Stipulate Quality Control finaldisposition of unserviceable parts/material

Must complete all reporting inExcel before end of shift

Document any discrepancies usingform 82-04-00

Must be detail oriented

 

Perform Internal Quality AssuranceAudits

 

Perform delegated duties asspecified by the Quality Manager and/or Manufacturing Quality Manager
