Regional Sales Manager-Gifts Industry

OneCoast is the largest national provider of sales and marketing services to vendors and retailers for home décor, gift and collegiate products.  We have national coverage throughout the United States with wholesale showrooms in major merchandise marts including Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Seattle. 

 

OneCoast is seeking a Regional Sales Manager in our National Division for the Central Region.  The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of Territory Managers and directing the sales activity for the National Sales Division.  Strong leadership and sales management skills is key to the success of building a highly trained sales team. The individual should have industry experience.

 Sales ManagementDirecting the sales activities in meeting the sales forecast for the national division.Analyzes sales performance of the sales team and identifies opportunities.Develops sales forecast and goals for sales team.Manage all sales activities in shows and showrooms.Schedules monthly conference calls with the sales team in communicating opportunities and success stories of team members.Coach, mentor and motivate the sales team in achieving sales and revenue goals and overcoming obstacles.Assist the Product Training Specialist in developing product and sales training programs.Participate in weekly conference calls with Divisional Vice President.The RSM will spend at minimum of 50% of their time in the field.

 Vendor Relationship ManagementRegularly communicates with vendors in building long term relationship with our partners.Communicate with vendors on sales performance.Respond to vendor request regarding sales and TM performance in a timely manner.

 Human ResourcesRecruits and interviews candidates hiring the best sales team utilizing the OneCoast Recruiting Process for current and future positions.Provides continued training in supporting the philosophies of OneCoast University in providing the sales team with the tools and resources in being a successful Territory Manager.Coordinates the Mentoring Program for newly hired Territory Managers.Conducts Territory Manager Performance Reviews Annually and Mid Year.Communicates sales incentive programs and recognizes achievement of those programs.Work closely with Human Resource’s to address any personnel issues.  Support and foster the OneCoast philosophy of “mutual trust and respect” within the areas of responsibilities.
