Sales representative

Job Description - Saxco International, a nationally recognized distributor of glass bottles and related packaging, is looking for an energetic, assertive, polished Sales Representative to join our Company. You will be responsible for maintenance and growth of sales of packaging materials (glass and PET containers, closures and decorating services) to existing customer accounts (primarily distilleries, wineries and craft breweries) in NJ, PA, NY and a geographic area including neighboring states, and for the growth of new business through the development of targeted accounts.

 

Qualifications

-  At least 4 years of outside sales experience preferably with some exposure to packaging  

 and the alcoholic beverage, wine or craft brewing industries.

-  4 year college degree (BS or BA)

-  Track record of success identifying new prospects and developing new business.

-  Ability to multitask and handle high volume complex accounts.

-  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-  A critical aspect of the position is face to face contact with our customers. The successful candidate should be comfortable resolving issues with existing customers and presenting and closing new sales opportunities in this environment.

-  Good problem solving skills

 

Compensation  -  Salary with commission, company car, benefits including health insurance, 401k, and Profit Sharing

 

Travel  -  Some overnight travel.

 

Location- Depending on where the candidate lives, we anticipate that the position will work out of a satellite (home) office supplemented with trips to our Corporate office in Horsham, PA.
