Seafood Category Specialist

Lipari Foods is seeking a Seafood Specialist for the company. As a member of the Sales and Marketing division, the Seafood Specialist is responsible for increasing sales and profitability in the Seafood division for the Company. This position is also involved in many of the support processes related to follow-up issues regarding customer relations and overall seafood sales. Since the focus of the position is wholesale seafood sales and product support, the ideal candidate would have either all or a majority of his/her experience in this field.

Lipari Foods is seeking Seafood Category Specialists based in both southeastern Michigan as well as in the Chicagoland market.

Description of Responsibilities:Responsible for increasing sales and profitability in select category Develop Customer Relations Pricing and product quotes Trouble shoot product challenges Assist with niche program development, category management recommendations, net controllable profit Key account sales skills Sell positive ideas and provide a positive impact for the customers Assist Sales Representatives in product presentations and sales of seafood category Interface with and assist the Lipari Team regarding new product needs, product information Product conversion at street level to enforce the category management aspect of the category.

Specialized Skills or Knowledge:P.C. literate, Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point Ability to decipher and determine needed areas of improvement in seafood department at store level Personal Management skills, Strong Organizational Skills Enthusiasm for Travel Agent for Positive Change General Product Knowledge and Make-up/Trouble Shooting Ability Team Attitude Strong verbal and written abilities Ability to work effectively under pressure Strong problem solving abilities Ability to interact with multiple groups Must be able to read, write and understand English Multi-task oriented "Whatever It Takes, Can Do" Attitude
