Shipping/Traffic Coordinator

Prepare shipping documents to include bills of lading, export documentation, packing lists, etc.Document and track shipments by getting POD's and maintaining reports.Receive and ship daily packages via Fedex-prepare documentation and log in shipments.Resolve shipping claims by contacting shipping companies and following up on shipping errors or damaged shipments.Prepare shipping labels and carton markings via computerized programs.Coordinate incoming shipments with clearing broker, freight forwarders and trucking companiesCustomer service duties providing information and answering questions and requests.Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs).Work hours 8:30am-5:30pm (M-F)
Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years of relevant experience with solid work history.  Individual must have excellent communication and computer skills and must be well organized.  The position calls for an individual that is responsible, dependable, have a good work ethic and be flexible to work later hours when needed.
