Duties and Responsibilities Install, Configure, and Maintain Server Hardware and Virtual Data Center Environment (VMware Hosts).Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems and applications.Perform Performance Tuning: Analyze and make recommendation for improvements in host, system, and application effectiveness.Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan installation of new system or modification of an existing system.Consult with staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.Monitor and analyze system and network security.Implement Gumdrop's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans.Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education / Experience/Requirements:Bachelors DegreeMicrosoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE) certification: WINSrv 2003 or equivalent work related experience required.MCSE with Specialization in Security a plus.Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft XP, Vista, MS Exchange, VMware, IIS, ISA, Active Directory, MS SQL Srv, Backup Exec required.
