Vendor Champion

D&H is an 90  year-old Employee Owned national wholesale distributor of computer, video game, security and home entertainment products. Objective:  Vendor Champion needed to increase service and sales through the growth of existing accounts . Finding incremental business in support of D&H and its business partners to provide the highest levels of professionalism, market penetration, service, and solutions.  The Product Specialist position is fully funded by a vendors as an in-house sales advocate and a resource to the D&H Sales Team.

 

Responsibilities Include:

 * Seek opportunities to achieve incremental revenue

* Obtain D&Hsales revenue goals  the manufacturer

* Assist in achievement of Back End dollar opportunities

* Enhance D&H’s overall profitability with the manufacturer

 * Use vendors quoting and ordering tool to process purchase orders

* Be a resource for sales for tools and information needed to close deals

* Identify lost deal patterns and feedback solutions

* Participate with Sales and Marketing to define and implement sales strategies of their manufacturer at D&H.

* Support Telemarketing Campaigns

* Follow up on manufacturer leads

* Conduct sales training, provide product information, etc.

* Support Sales, Marketing and the manufacturer at various trade shows, product launch’s and Blitz Day etc.

* Generating visibility within D&H for the vendor partner

* Provide quality check for product descriptions in product data areas

* Do specialized reporting as needed to track sales, promo’s, etc.

 Required Qualifications:

 · Minimum 1 year PC industry experience in a sales, marketing or product management role.

· Proven success in achieving goals

· Excellent communications, time management, and problem solving skills

· Self-starter able to work with several reporting structures

· Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in managing projects

· Demonstrated professional qualities in appearance, conduct and attitude.

· Experience giving presentations and conducting sales training

· Ability to achieve through influencing others in a team atmosphere

 

Desired Qualifications:

·    2 or more years of sales  or training experience

·    Some college level courses in business, marketing
