Technical Services Representative. Goldline Controls/Hayward Industries, Inc., a hi-tech manufacturer of state-of-the-art pool and spa controls.  Goldline Controls is located in the new Quonset Point Industrial Park and our building faces Narragansett Bay.Our Technical Service Department seeks a Technical Service Representative to provide support to distributors, dealers, and homeowners on timely a basis performing the following duties:  Handle and resolve incoming questions concerning pool product defects and replacements from customers by ascertaining the cause of the problem.  Authorize product repairs and replacements covered by product warranty and follow up on the problem to ensure it is handled on a timely basis to meet customer needs.  Complete all warranty paperwork and pro-rates warranties.  Collect service data from field inspection reports and identify trends and other areas of concern.  Communicate potential product problems to Quality Control.  Interface with Quallity Control, Customer Service, the Outside Sales Force, and Engineering on a regular basis.  Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.  Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.  Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.  Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of tchnical instructions in mathematicla or diagram for  and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.  Bachelor's degree(B.A.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Excellent benefit package includes Health/Dental/Vision/Pension/401K/Life Insurance/Paid vacation and sick time/generous continuing education/tuition reimbursement and more.  Goldline Controls takes pride in being an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Please submit your resume to joyceb@goldlinecontrols.com   Mailing address: 61 Whitecap Drive, North Kingstown, RI 02852
