This is a terrific opportunity with  a dynamic organization!  Food & Beverage Industry Leader has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Director Product Development - Carbonated Soft Drinks in its new Texas location!Lead first-class teams to bring new products to the marketplace and enjoy a creative,  innovative and collaborative atmosphere.  Salary and Benefit Compensation Package are first-class. Job Description: Strong project manager and developer who will lead cross-functional teams to bring new products to the marketplace: Influences business partners, Marketing and Supply Chain, to drive project agenda. Provides broad thinking to project technical tracks and business opportunities. Seeking out opportunities to drive the Fuel for Growth agenda. Develop new beverages and food in response to IPM briefs from development. Develop project budget and timelines for each project. Applications of the knowledge of properties & interactions of raw materials to the development & manufacturing of new products and improvement of existing products. Development of processing and manufacturing standards for new and existing products. Provide technical leadership and expertise, and trouble shooting of formulation, quality, and manufacturing issues. Identify, recommend, and implement solutions in the transfer of new products from development to manufacturing. Accountable for sharing best practices, knowledge transfer, and contributing to competency development across the R&D team.Qualifications: Strong knowledge of Carbonated Soft Drinks a MUST; BS Chemistry, Food Science or Chemical Engineering, Masters Degree preferred; 8 years experience with Beverages a must;; Desire to manage / mentor people; Creative flair, while having proven capability in the transfer of products from design to manufacturing; Ability to apply mathematical concepts to the design and implementation of food systems; Excellent oral & written skills with ability to work in a multi-functional environment, and to coach others; Able to travel domestically and internationally; High level of interest in people development through transfer of previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Formula Management Systems.CONTACT US TODAY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WITH A 1ST CLASS GROWING COMPANY!  MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
