Distribution Supervisor
Duplium Corporation is a leading provider of CD and DVD replication solutions. We are undergoing continuous expansion of our operation to support growth in our manufacturing site in Carrollton, TX. Duplium has been providing software solutions to global customers for over 10 years and offers a wide range of Production and Fulfillment services.
Duplium is currently looking for Distribution Supervisor that will delegate and oversee the activities of department employees, as well as assist in their development. The Distribution Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day areas of distribution including:Overseeing and directing the daily activities of all distribution associates (picking, packing, shipping, up to 25 employees).Control level of work on floor to meet business needs, schedule manpower to increase productivity.Ensure coaching, training, counseling when needed, cross train in all areas and shifts of this Distribution Center.Enforcement of facility safety and security measures.Accurate inventory control and reporting.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years distribution / warehouse supervision experience.Minimum of two years supervisory experience with more than 15 employees.Must be organized, flexible, goal-orientedAbility to communicate at all levels.Experience in training and motivation of employees.Team and detail orientedStrong understanding of distribution systems. Proven leadership skills assisting in the screening, interviewing and hiring process.Ensuring compliance with company procedural requirements.Experience in defining expectations and performance standards for team members.A stable work history.A track record of bringing out the best in people.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer/PC knowledge.Outstanding follow-up ability.
