MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

AFP advanced food products llc, a premier food manufacturer of puddings, cheese sauces and nutritional beverages located in New Holland, Lancaster County, is in search of a dynamic person to supervise our Maintenance Department.  This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.

 

The person selected for this position will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance/electrical/refrigeration and boiler operations of the plant as well as daily supervision of 20 employees over three shifts.  Other responsibilities/requirements are:

 Initiate and implement a preventative maintenance programSchedule work assignments and ensure accountabilityPrevious experience in mechanical, electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities in an industrial environment, as well as strong trouble shooting skills is all these areas plus PLC programming HVAC and boiler experience a plus.

 We prefer a candidate with a strong mentoring mentality, one who promotes others and the concept of teamwork.  Strong organizations skills and the ability to plan and prioritize work assignments are needed for this fast paced position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a supervisory role. This is primarily a 1st shift position but the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays may be required.
