Process Engineer - Food Manufacturing

Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing. They are currently experiencing considerable expansion in this key facility. We are looking for a sharp Process Engineer to help drive this growth. The position will be involved in developing process efficiency projects. Great location with access to urban areas. Great promotional opportunities beyond this.  Responsibilities: As a staff level Process Engineer, you will be involved in the inception, design and implementation of process improvement projects. These projects could be equipment, labor input or a combination of both. Will work closely with operations, quality, maintenance and engineering. Will provide leadership and training to operations for implementation.  Requirements: BS degree in Engineering with preference for Chemical Engineering and 3+ years experience in food manufacturing. Preference given to past dairy, beverage or spray drying experience. Must exhibit excellent communications and ability to work as a team. Prefer experience with PLC’s, FDA food law and modern process improvement programs (Six Sigma, 5S, Kaisen, etc.). Computer literacy a must. Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000+ DOE plus bonus.
