Product Marketing Manager

Fort Worth based Powr-Flite, a manufacturer and supplier of commercial floor care equipment, parts and supplies is seeking a Product Marketing Manager. This position will be responsible for implementing product positioning, pricing and lifecycle strategies as well as direct mail and web site merchandising and promotional tactics. The Product Marketing Manager will also play a key role in new product development for both manufactured and sourced products. Competitive analysis, SKU rationalization and price / margin analysis skills are also required.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·  Develop and recommend product positioning, pricing and lifecycle strategies.

·  Develop short and long range strategies for product expansion.

·  Implement merchandising and promotional activities for direct mail and web channels.

·  Collaborate with team members to plan, develop and produce price sheets, catalogs, direct mail campaigns and product packaging.

·  Maintain product database relating to SKU, Price and Description as required.

·  Perform competitive analysis for product lines.

·  Assist in sales training at sales meetings and industry trade shows.

 

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

 

· Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Advertising.

· 3-5 years product management and / or consumer marketing experience.

· Strong Project Management skills – ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet assigned deadlines.

· Financial acumen as it relates to business marketing math (cost, price, margin).

· Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

· Must be able to perform in cross functional team settings.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.
