R & D MANAGER for First Class Food & Beverage Manufacturing Company!

Job Description Do you have 5+ years experience in the Food and/or Beverage Industry with a background in Chemistry, Food Science or Engineering? Are you a strong R&D Product Manager / Developer who can lead cross-functional teams to bring new products to the marketplace? Our client, a top-notch Food & Beverage Manufacturing Company, is looking for a R&D Manager to join their outstanding team!  Excellent Salary and Benefit Package for talented candidate.  Job Responsibilities: ·  Strong project manager and developer who will lead cross-functional teams to bring new products to the marketplace: Influences business partners, Marketing and Supply Chain, to drive project agenda. Provides broad thinking to project technical tracks and business opportunities. Seeking out opportunities to drive the Fuel for Growth agenda. ·  Develop new beverages and food in response to IPM briefs from development. Develop project budget and timelines for each project. ·  Applications of the knowledge of properties & interactions of raw materials to the development & manufacturing of new products and improvement of existing products. ·  Development of processing and manufacturing standards for new and existing products. ·  Accountable for overall documentation and communication of formula for assigned brands. ·  Provide technical leadership and expertise, and trouble shooting of formulation, quality, and manufacturing issues.Qualifications: ·  Strong knowledge of Food and/or Beverage technology, Chemistry or Engineering, including experience in development of carbonated beverages; ·  BS Chemistry, Food Science or Chemical Engineering 5-9 yrs or Masters degree and 5-8 yrs experience in food/food ingredients industry. ·  Ability to demonstrate creative flair, while having proven capability in the transfer of products from design to manufacturing. ·  Ability to apply mathematical concepts to the design and implementation of food systems. ·  Excellent oral & written skills with ability to work in a multi-functional environment, and to coach others. ·  Able to travel domestically and internationally. ·  High level of interest in people development through transfer of previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Formula Management Systems.  We're looking to fill this role quickly, if this sounds like the right opportunity for you, respond as soon as possible! CONTACT US TODAY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WITH A DYNAMIC ORGANIZATION!
