Partsmaster, a division of NCH Corporation, is an industrial maintenance supply company providing high quality, unique repair products.  We carry over 1,000 product lines and are heavily involved in the Cryogenic treatment of cutting tools.  Other major product groups we provide are Welding, Cutting Tools, Abrasives, Chemicals, Specialty Hardware, Hose & Fittings, and Electrical.

 

This position in our Technical Service / Quality Control Department supports our national sales force through phone consultations advising sales representatives on product and troubleshooting applications.  This person will also test, compare and evaluate product performance in a team environment. As well as perform QC checks to uphold quality standards of existing products.

 

This position requires a Technical Degree or equivalent in any mechanical or science related field, good verbal and written communication skills and 1-2 years experience.  The successful candidate should have good organizational skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to work in a team environment.  Use of basic mechanical tools (drill, saw, hand tools, air tools, and welder) is a plus.

 

Because of the wide variety of products that we carry and technical service calls that we receive, training in any of the following fields is an asset:  Welding, Electrical, Construction, Maintenance, and Auto Repair.
