Able to read building electrical and sprinklerplans as required for clearing equipment trouble. Experience installing, inspeckting and repairing similar equipment.Responsibilities:An ADT Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert. Alleviates concerns the customer may have regarding a security system. Advises customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections.Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring.2. Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.3. Read blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to complete equipment repairs.4. Prepare trouble order forms to report temporary repairs.5. Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.Requirements:Education: High school diploma or GED.Experience: Minimum 2 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product line. Skills: Excellent communication skills. Other: Valid driver’s license required.
